TIS Community Forum Guidelines
These guidelines help keep the TIS Community Forum respectful, legal, and focused on hunting, fishing, and conservation.
1. Be Respectful
Treat every member with respect. No personal attacks, harassment, or discrimination. Disagreement is fine; insults and hate speech are not. We reserve the right to remove content and restrict accounts that violate this.
2. Follow Fair Chase Ethics
Discussions should align with fair chase and legal hunting and fishing. Do not promote or describe illegal activity, poaching, or unethical practices. Location sharing should be respectful and within the bounds of the law.
3. No Poaching or Illegal Activity
Any discussion of poaching, trespassing, or other illegal activity is not allowed. Reports may be forwarded to authorities. Keep locations general when appropriate to protect resources and privacy.
4. Keep Locations Respectful
Sharing general areas (state, region, public land names) is welcome. Avoid posting exact coordinates or spots that could lead to overcrowding or conflict. Respect private property and landowner privacy.
5. Stay On Topic
Post in the appropriate category. Off-topic or spam posts may be moved or removed. Commercial promotion should follow our advertising policy (contact us for details).
6. Moderation
Moderators and admins may edit, move, lock, or remove content that violates these guidelines. Repeated violations may result in temporary or permanent restrictions. If you see something that breaks the rules, use the report option or contact the team.
7. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for your posts. Ensure you have the right to share any images or content. By posting, you agree to these guidelines and to our site Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
